I Thank You

I'm so excited after taking a few weeks off to revamp and regroup. I am glad to say that business is better than ever. My last few events were a huge success. Lately, a lot more of my friends and family are now believers that my cupcakes are just what my slogan says, "Tasty and scrumptious morsels across your lips and fingertips." I recently started a new job and the orders are pouring in. I'm practically selling cupcakes all day everyday. I thank GOD for the abundance of blessings and for my friends and family supporting me and believing in my Dream.

Get 'cha Cupcakes

I am till riding high on the excitement and overwhelming response to my cupcakes. Last weekend I was very busy I baked cupcakes for 3 different events. Whew, was I tired. Hard work pays off.

By the way, if you haven't tried my cupcakes, yet. Don't fret I will be vending my cupcakes on this coming Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Come one come all and tell your friends and family to come and get some good pasta and for dessert a decadent and delicious cupcake(s).

Keeping up the Momemtum

Ok, I am just getting up and thanking GOD for all of the blessings and the orders that have been keeping me busy over the last month and a half. I am so excited, really excited. I am baking everyday and it feels and tastes amazing :-).

Road to Excitement

Whew, I am finally winding down from a baking filled weekend of Mother's Day orders. In addition, to the orders for Mother's Day I was also a vendor at a Mother's Day bazaar this past weekend and it was phenomenal. Vendors and attendees bought cupcake after cupcake after cupcake. I am still full of excitement from this past weekend.

After, over two months in the business I can honestly say that creating Sweet's Treats from bottom up was the best decision that I have made in a very long time. Starting a business from ground up requires a lot of sleepless nights, blood, sweat and tears. From the overwhelming response that I have received so far I cannot stop even if I wanted to. So, I am saddled up and ready for this long ride.

I would be remised if I didn't acknowledge the out pour of support that I have been receiving from family, friends and mere strangers. So many people have donated and or purchased tools and items that I can use for the business. It speaks volumes when people have faith and believe in you and your product. To date I am very, very pleased with the outcome thus far. I see a bright future ahead for Sweet's Treats and it can only get better with time.

Good Morning All,

I am overjoyed with the welcoming of my cupcake business to the DC Metro area. I am very, very excited. Right on the heels of Mother's Day and Graduations I am very pleased to announce that I have orders pouring in. I am currently looking at dates and locations now to hold my next public tasting. Gotta run I have to orders to fulfill for today.

Humble Beginnings

I am so excited and overjoyed as I type this blog. I had my first cupcake sampling yesterday afternoon. I was floored by the response to my cupcakes. I nearly sold out of all of the cupcakes that I baked on yesterday. I received quite a few orders. If I ever had any doubt that this wasn't the right move for me. All of that dissipated after yesterday's tasting. I am still excited and looking forward to climbing higher and higher.

Taking it one day at a time. I am enjoying the support from my family and friends with my newest business venture. Pictures soon to follow. Time to get busy creativity awaits.
